Dr. Brinkley opens the Center for Planning Excellence summit with a panel focused on the past, present and future of planning during pandemics. September, 2020

 

Dr. Brinkley presents the plenary for Urbanism Next at the University of Oregon.

 

Dr. Brinkley presents on city experiences in delivering local climate action plans at the 2021 #Innovate4Cities Conference, an international gathering at the nexus of cities, climate change science and innovation. This groundbreaking meeting will be co-hosted by UN-Habitat and the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM) and the IPCC.

 

Dr. Brinkley presents three published studies on the food environment and diet-related health at the NSF-sponsored Convergence Accelerator workshop Sustainable Systems Enabling Food Security in Extreme Environments and Food Deserts employing a Convergence of Food, Energy, Water and Systems focuses on ensuring sustainable food production systems and achieving food security in extreme environments.
